AntennaSys: iPhone 4 Death Grip Didn’t Drop Calls

July 6th, 2010 No Comments »

In informal tests, antenna consultant Spencer Webb said that he couldn’t trace Apple’s so-called “death grip” iPhone 4 antenna issues to a dropped call.

In a blog post released late Friday, Webb said that he had performed a “quick test” with a friend’s iPhone 4, held with a “death grip”. Although the signal meter dropped, the phone didn’t drop the call.

iPad Multitasking – yep, it can be done.

April 9th, 2010 No Comments »

According to TechCrunch:
Alas, Cupertino has now rejected the app for “contradicting the iPad’s user experience”, whatever that means (I guess Apple doesn’t want even a hint of multi-tasking on the iPad until they decide to add support for it). Hong has swiftly made the code for the app open source on GitHub, enabling other developers to compile it for themselves and/or their social circle.
I just don’t get Apple. They’re completing doing with the iPad what they did with their OS and hardware in the 80′s with Microsoft.. I don’t get it.. Thank Goodness we have Android. Only time until someone releases an Android Pad.
