My wife’s new 1.83 Ghz Macbook with 1GB of factory installed RAM just started randomly shutting down. What a pain! I started this site to discuss the issue. Is this happening to anyone else?
I plan to start posting our trevails with the issue on this site – enjoy and let’s get this resolved! There are many reports of some of the new Macbooks doing this.
According to the Apple support site though, there aren’t any official answers it appears. Go figure. We are headed the Genius bar on Saturday to tackle the issue – wish me luck 
I also found a great thread over at Macworld with users experiencing similar issues – hopefully Apple will address this issue for everyone since we are all still under warranty at this point.

Ola yo tengo el mismo problema , hace 4 años que tengo el macbook de 1,83ghz de 13″ . Y esta semana se me calienta un monton , i se para de repente sin passar a reposo. que passa kon estos ordenadores ¿? existe un fallo de hardware?¿ alguin piensa solucionar esto¿? supongo que todos keremos respuestas.
