people who have put an insulating scotch on the sensor cable didn’t experience any shutdown since. didn’t receive my mackbook yet but if it ever shuts down i will try it for sure, since apple doesn’t seem able to fix it permanently. People get computers back from repair shuting down again and again.

What’s up with this Random shutdown thing???
Here in the middle east (Kuwait, to be exact) there hasn’t been a single case of random shutdowns… I just got a call from the apple center.. and they said that they are expecting the new and improved MacBooks in two weeks… supposedly with all the problems solved… the fan/ random shutdown/ discoloration/ trackpad button… EVERYTHING… so, I’m just waiting for the new shipment to arrive to get a MacBook…
By the way… there is not price difference between the Black and White MacBooks… So, is this thing only in the US?
