Shutting down randomly!!!

It happens when im not doing anything in particular…surfing the web, looking at my photos…i’m not overusing and its not overheating. No warning, nothing. Sound of doom, then black screen.
I’m a college student and really can’t afford to lose my laptop for 8 days and send it away, but then again I cant afford to have it shut down on me when I’m typing a paper! I’m going to wait until Winter break (still 4 months away!) and pray this doesnt become a bigger problem meanwhile.
whyyyyyyyy! this is my first apple and i bought it because i didn’t want to have to worry about PC-type problems!!! The commercial says it itself! Macbooks don’t freeze or shut down randomly. Liars!

I’m having the SAME problem and I thought the same thing, thats the thing they used to sell it to me was that it never has problems and will never do these such things and I am a student as well. Can’t afford not to have my laptop!! awww, if you have found the answer please let me know.

Oh my god, me too!
this happened.. yesterday?
yeah, yesteday. my brother was using it and BAM
randomly shut down.. then my older brother was
using it and BAM shuts down.. wtf?
this is the school laptop tho, imma
have the techs check whats up with it.

oh and i was watching “Keith” the new movie today just
a few minutes ago and it shut down on me. this is very
odd.. never happened before.
