On the PR site of the Macbook, you can find a e-mail address of Janette Barrios, she is the contact person for the macbook.
Lets all send her an e-mail and ask her whats going on with this “quality” product, and when this issue is being solved.

Hello Jannette,
I have a question regarding my 2.0 Ghz Black MacBook
Sinds I have my MacBook it gets kernel-panics, and shuts down at random times.
If you do just al little research on the Internet (do a google search for MacBook random shutdown), you wil find out that I am by far not the only one who has this very annoying defect on my MacBook.
What wonders me the most is that I don’t find any reference on the official Apple site regarding this problem. Are there any technicians investigating the problem, ore is apple just ignoring this? I do hope that Apple will admit that there is a production error with this kind of Apple product, and will solve the problem.
I hope to hear from u soon, as i may expect from a “high quality” company as Apple?
