Apple authorized seller insulted me!
Lately I called the store to get some news about my MacBook. On Thursday the 14th I told them I absolutely needed my computer before Monday the 18th. They guaranteed I’d get a new unit or a refund by Saturday the 16th. On Friday the 15th I called them and they told me they didn’t have a new computer and they wouldn’t refund me. I told them I’d contact a lawyer and the guy passed me on the owner of the store. He insulted me, made fun of me, raised his voice, didn’t allow me to reply and then hung up.
I’m appalled by such a behaviour. How can he treat a customer like that? What’s wrong with me asking for my money back after a phony repair and 45 days of vain waiting?

yea, its amazing how people can get rude just from the mention of bringing a lawyer into the mix…if its true that war is the failure of diplomacy, then “say hello to my lawyer” is the first shot..

I have read in Apple Discussion Forums some Macbook Owners with RSS/RSD problems have been charged for getting the repairs done. When reported to AppleCare they washed their hand of it.
I dont understand what is the fault of early buyers of Macbook. Buying this Macbook has been my worst experience in life.

Same here. I took my mac book in at 88 days old. The “genius” screamed at me, called me a name, and walked out slamming the door. I assumed he’d be terminated for being so over the top. HE was there when I picked this pos up. Now I don’t want to go back and tell sir psycho that his new logic board didn’t fix my problem. I’ve been living with it since August.
This is my 3RD laptop that crapped out. Although, the others at least lasted a few months. (See iBook logic board issues). I know. Twice burned - I’m an idiot for going back.
