Collaborative Petition Wiki
Filed in: Random Shutdown Add comments
REALLY QUICKLY, I’ve set up a wiki site where we can start working on an effective petition\open letter to Apple. I’ve brainstormed a bit and made a basic framework for our discussion. For anyone not familiar with a wiki, it is a website that works just like Wikipedia, so we can all contribute our ideas to the petition. Anything else macbook-related on my personal website will be at http://www.ezra-g.com/macbook.
Feel free to leave me feedback on the ‘notes to admin’ page.

Excellent initiative! Now we need to get this thing going – could someone with legal knowledge offer some advice? I am sure that many of us are willing to contribute and there’s got to be loads of us… I was told the heatsink/logicboard solution more than two weeks ago by my repair center and Apple has still not been able to supply them with the parts! I guess that 1,000′s of MacBooks are affected. And looking at this site more and more are coming. Could we do some statistical analysis? What’s the growth rate per day? Is it slowing down / speeding up? Based on the number of reported cases – what is the real number roughly?
