Crapple Laptop

After having my MB on repair for a week, I decided to call the apple store to find out the status. They told me that my repair was “on hold” and no further explanation could be given to me. So, the guy offered to transer me to apple care. Waited for about 20 minutes. When I finally got through, the support guy told me that my repair was not “on hold”, instead he said that they were still trying to reproduce the problem. This is so stupid since when I took the MB to the apple store, the problem occurred twice in front of the Apple “Genius”. This is becoming to be a real pain and I am willing to contribute with any legal action.
Unhappy first-time apple customer

Apple employee are becoming very good at lying to customers. I’ll tell you a tale customer services told me. One month of waiting sparked me to make a complaint and I phoned Apple (writing is no good as they never answer – tried that already). Got through to a person who was very friendly and promised to get some spare parts shipped immidiately and by the lastest within two days. Five days later I found a message on my answer machine from AppleCare to confirm that parts had been shipped and would arrive the next day. After three days, I contacted the repair center (not Apple’s own where I live) who told me that Apple had never been in contact regarding my repair and never shipped any parts to them. NEVER AGAIN AN APPLE COMPUTER unless they make ammense very very soon.

I share your dilemna. I was exactly told several lies here at Apple Australia.
Good thing the reseller is much cooperative to me that he always tell me the status of the parts that were supposed to be shipped but were not.
