I have got the heatsink unit and logic board replaced.
but macbook still shutdowns. though its not as frequest as before.
previously i could power it on instantly with the BEEP procedure. Now this also fails. And after about 15 minutues or so the BEEP thing works.
i have downloaded all the updates.
one more thing i am geting lot of kernal panics. the screen just freezes and everything stops working. I have to force boot the machine.
At times i also find the display freezes.

I also see Kernal Panic Message fequently.
A Mac-Guru tells me it is possible its Hardware related. Since I also have RSS I should try to press for replacement.
I have explained my case to Apple Manager and waiting to hear from him.

Ah, I didn’t see you had made a seperate post about this. I didn’t realize you sent your machine in for repair already. Looks like I might be joining you in that class-action lawsuit if mine starts to go downhill.
