Supposedly in control of the problem

Went to the apple store to turn in my macbook for repairs the other day and met several other people doing the same. One fellow was turning it in for the second time, after they replaced his heatsink and logic board the first time. The Genius claimed that before they hadn’t been sure on the problem exactly, but now they knew exactly what to do to fix ‘em. So my macbook is ready the next day for pick up and we’ll see if they’re right. I propose that a poll be created to track the macbook repairs, so that we can see if more recent repairs are working or if the macbooks are still having rss.

Great idea! I will get that poll up tonight for everyone to use – thanks!
Cheers!

I’m scared, my MB is on repair right now so I don’t know If I’ll have the same problem again or other things such as kernel panics, etc.

I think that’s an excellent idea.

I DONT THINK ANY POLL IS REQUIRED. Macbooks have been sold with defective Heat Sinks.
We paid APPLE our hard money to buy NEW MACBOOK. We should either have an option of MONEY BACK or NEW MACBOOK. I think all REPAIRED macbook is as good as REFURBISHED. They whay have we paid a premium to them to buy new MACBOOK.
HEAT SINK replacement has not worked in few Macbooks. I know the owners personally.
NOW let APPLE do the POLL and see the result.
