Just bought a 17″ MBP, making the switch to Apple after many, MANY of my friends raved about theirs. Bought it last Saturday–since then, I have horrible wireless connectivity problems that Apple offers no solution for, other than to NOT install the latest AirPort Extreme update (yes, that made my connection much MUCh worse, so I had to re-install the OS–twice), and my second RSD in a week. What a piece of crap! I got these headaches on windows machines for much less $$$–this is going back to the store this week. Piece of crap.
You never stated or told us what you were using for wireless connection?
All you do is come here and post your whiny sorry ass complaints and say its a piece of crap. I switched from winbloze in November and have only had bad screens but apple made good on 3 systems and verified that they were bad. I have a MBP 15inch with the Airport Express sitting 3 rooms a way and have dropped signal once in 3 months. Point being go where your comfortable . Switching to Apple is NOT for everyone, and your obviously in that boat.

Everybody knows windows blows, but clearly people are having problems with their mac’s that they paid a lot more for. Look at you–3 macbooks with bad screens since November??? Jesus, I’ve had twice that number of PC laptops and have NEVER had a bad screen. You’re the second person I’ve heard in the last 3 months reporting bad screens–this is good quality control???

had a core 2 duo macbook since they came out.. not a single prob yet. love it more than any windows machine I’ve ever owned. this site showcases the inevitable “bad apples” out of a larger batch of perfect ones.
