Yes, me to….
instead of going to sleep, instant shut down at 15% or 20% of battery life..
Too bad I live in Brazil and the next apple store is in a couple of 1000 km ahead..

I am not having this issue too much anymore, though I think that is because I have been plugged in for the most part… I’ll start running on battery power again to see, but I just bought the extended warranty so have another two years of support… unfortunately, I think I will need it… I just started to get the screen flicker problem again! I’m having this same problem. I’ve used mine mostly on AC power, so I don’t know how long this has been going on. Recently I’ve started using it on battery more and it’s totally unreliable. Unfortunately I’m a few months out of warranty. Anybody had any success with this apart from the PMU reset?

This sounds like a battery issue. Try to take it to an authorized service provider and they will most likely be able to resolve it.

Thanks. Yes, I did a PMU reset. It seems to work fine for a week after a crash, then down it goes again… without any real heavy use.
I’m starting to regret, again, switching to a Mac. Next time I’ll order a cheap laptop and run Ubuntu…
