Problems for the last month or two became increasingly frustrating. So I contacted apple support, who ran through a fix with me, and told me that it should be fine. But on the off chance told me to go an authorised Apple Service place if it continued. So I now face a 2 hour drive to get it sorted.
My laptop shut down a minimum of once a day when I ran it on windows, but running my mac on mac for the last 2 days, its only shut down once. Don't get that, but I am expecting a long and painful process to get it sorted! |

I have started to see this issue on my macbook this week. I am researching issue on the web, ran into this site and am hoping (naively) that I won't have to send the macbook in for repair. I'd like run over to Apple and kick someone in the you know where for releasing this shoddy product. |

Apple replaced logic board and heatsink in first six months. Now it's 6 months out of warranty and doing it again.
My 3 year old AU$900 is still working like a charm. My 18 month old AU$1600 MacBook is an expensive doorstop.
Not happy, Apple! |

I have sent my macbook in countless times in the first year I owned it, right when I got it the hinge was bent, later the cd drive wouldnt eject a cd, now RSS! It seems when I move my macbook it will randomlly when it wants turn off and the hibernate light pops up. After this happens, I cant turn it back on unless I completely remove the battery and it has no power. I didnt use my macbook at school all this year due to this! Now I sent it into bestbuy (dad works there and have product service/replacement plan) sent it back to me works fine they restored it, but what happens? IT STARTS RANDOMLY TURNING OFF AGAIN! Its actually fucking ridiculous this happens and I hope someones actually reads this haha! |

I'm having the problem right now. The first time that happened was on dec. 07. and it stopped until june 08. Now my mac can't be on for more than 5 mins. = I can't use it at all. I'm taking it to the mac store this week.
Doesn't anyone think we should get our mac's replaced rather than paying extra money to apple to 'fix' it? |
